Hope on the Prairies Foundation Inc. is a Saskatchewan-based non-profit organization committed to supporting mental wellness for children, youth, and families. Whether it’s through direct support, education, or outreach, our work is rooted in compassion, community, and access for all.
Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance mental health awareness and education across Saskatchewan by addressing and removing barriers, while offering emergency support services for children, youth, and families. We are dedicated to improving mental health and wellness in our communities by providing accessible resources, support, and programs tailored to the diverse needs of those we serve.

What We Offer
Through our initiatives, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for mental health, empowering individuals and families to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Outreach and Education:
Deliver presentations on mental health and wellness awareness in Saskatchewan.
Accessible Counselling Services:
Offer free or low-cost counseling services to individuals who face financial or other barriers, ensuring those in need have access to professional mental health support.
Emergency Support:
Provide essential materials and services to meet the immediate needs of children, youth, and families in crisis, enhancing safety, wellness, and connection to ongoing mental health services.
Winter Support for Unhoused Individuals:
Distribute essential items such as warm clothing and hygiene products to unhoused individuals, particularly during the winter months, to support their basic needs and dignity.
Youth Mental Health Programs:
Promote and deliver programs designed to raise awareness about mental health among children and youth, equipping them with practical tools for managing their mental health and well-being.
Consultation and Mentorship:
Offer mental health and wellness consultation and mentorship for children and youth who may not require ongoing counselling but need guidance and support for managing their mental health
Sexual Health Education:
Provide educational resources and support to promote sexual health and wellness among youth and young adults, fostering healthy decision-making and self-awareness.
Sports and Mental Health:
Deliver mental health and wellness programs to raise awareness within minor sports communities, addressing performance pressures and related mental health issues faced by children and youth involved in recreational and competitive sports.
School Presentations:
Explore partnerships with schools to establish mental wellness support groups and integrate peer-led mental health champions, providing on-site support to students in need. HOTP plans to reach an estimated 25 schools to educate and raise awareness among students, staff, and communities through presentations and workshops.

Our organization is proudly led by a dedicated Board of Directors: Erin Moss, Briana Panchyshyn, Hailee Taylor, and Mackenzie Kleiboer — each bringing valuable insight, leadership, and passion to our mission.
